Get to a yoga class

We have a range of yogis here at closerlook, as in, some of us mastered the headstand years ago while others shudder in fear at the thought of rolling out a yoga mat. The rest of our crew? We’re somewhere in between.

Many closerlookers are committed to improving our practices in 2018. In fact, we have a weekly yoga practice held here at the office, which gives us a boost in fitness and well-being, and not to mention, a break in the work day. Our CEO, Dave O., recently conquered his fear of group yoga. Having realized both the mental and physical benefits, he plans to continue through the new year

Not quite convinced to start or step up your practice? Here are just a few benefits*:

  • Improves strength and flexibility
  • Perfects posture
  • Increases levels of happiness
  • Helps focus
  • Improves balance
  • And more!

Many yoga studios offer free or reduced-priced classes for new attendees. And one can find yoga deals on Groupon, Gilt City or LivingSocial quicker than you can say “downward facing dog.”
*As with any fitness or diet regimen, make sure to consult your doctor before practicing yoga.
