closerlook wins gold at MM&M Awards

On Thursday, October 11th at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, closerlook won Gold for Professional Sales Tool at the 2018 MM&M Awards. closerlook shared recognition with Horizon Pharma for the aggNET Interactive Visual Aid.

The aggNET Interactive Visual Aid (IVA) is an animated, interactive experience used to help the sales team communicate to healthcare professionals how bone erosion can occur in gout despite pain resolution. The aggNET IVA helps physicians identify patients who require a more aggressive gout treatment strategy so they can avoid continued gout progression and bone erosion. 

In terms of results, the sales force walks through the entire experience with target HCPs about 50% of the time, which surpassed expectations based on research on rheumatologists’ receptivity to hearing new messages about gout. The team also reported positive anecdotal feedback from HCPs, including requests to use the aid to convey urgency, treat patients, and help educate ER and PCP physicians. As a result of the aid’s success, Horizon has expanded educational efforts to include a web-based platform.
